I want to know if the Golf MK2 Cluster is interchangeable with the Golf Cabrio Mk1 cluster.
Are the same size. I need to change my Golf Cabrio Cluster 1990 but I dont get any spare part.

The cluster does not fit 1:1 - it´s not plug&play
Some of our members are using them in an MK1 by changing the rest in their dashboards

...i don´t see any reason that the cluster should not work in an MK1

you should contact kay_algeciras . He is German, but living in Spain. Perhaps he can spare a cluster of a Golf MK1.
If not please write which cluster your Golf Mk1 you have! Model year, Airbag, rev meter? Digital clock or MFA, miles or km?
What is broken, defect or missing?

Alternatively you can contact Kölner, he started his business (Tacho-Andi) repairing clusters of Golf Mk1 and Cabrio.
